For this assignment we were asked to create and design magazine splash, turn and front cover pages. we had to use columns to help with the spreads and help with the layout of the spreads. The theme for our magazines is 'Migration'.
Research
I first gathered some images that would help me give me some inspiration and a little more information about the fundamentals of layout when it comes to creating magazines spreads, such as collecting images that fit together nicely, and picking good typefaces that make it easy for the viewer to understand and read.

I have to decided to interpret migration in a way that could mean touring around the world, concerts and gigs is what came to my mind and how an artist shares their talent with their fans through visiting countries around the world.
I have decided to base my spread off the artist 'Joji', a performer and artist and how he's toured around the world with his record label '88rising'. 88rising is a record label that has an asian rap/singing collective making it big in America and in the east.
